 Opinión:

¿Dragones, magia,leyendas y mujeres independientes y fuertes? ¿Qué más se puede pedir? En este libro podréis encontrar todo esto y más. Estos son unos de los motivos por los cuales escogí leer este libro, además de verlo cada día por Instagram y todas las buenas críticas que tenía. 

La trama es muy buena, Kristen ha creado un mundo muy completo con un tras fondo de leyendas e historias ocultas y secretos muy elaborado. La historia se sitúa en Firgaard, en el cual encontramos a Asha, la Iskari, que es la mejor cazadora de dragones de la ciudad. Hace unos años su cara queda desfigurada por culpa del primer dragón, y cuando su padre le ofrece un trato a cambio de traerle la cabeza de ese mismo dragón, ella acepta sin pensárselo dos veces. Y a partir de aquí, no quiero deciros nada más ya que es aquí cuando la trama se pone interesante y Asha se ve envuelta en una serie de confabulaciones que van a cambiar su vida y creencias por completo.

Como podéis ver, Asha es una mujer muy fuerte que sabe lo que quiere y sabe cómo conseguirlo. Me gusta sobretodo porque tiene inseguridades pero éstas no le impiden hacer o conseguir todo aquello que se proponga. Luego encontramos a Dax, el hermano de Asha que es todo lo contrario a ella y aún y así me encanta. Luego tenemos a Torwin, el esclavo, que es mi personaje favorito de todos, su carisma y manera de actuar enamoran!

La verdad, os recomiendo de todo corazón este libro. Hasta la última página vais a estar enganchadísimos puesto que por mucho que os penséis que va a terminar de una forma determinada, de golpe da un giro que lo cambia todo de nuevo. Como traductora, estuve dando vueltas a el porqué del cambio de título al traducirlo al castellano (sí, defectos de profesión) y una vez terminado entiendo muy bien el porqué. Opinion:

Dragons, magic, legends and independent and strong women? What else could you want? In this book you can find all this and more. These are some of the reasons why I chose to read this book, besides seeing it every day on Instagram and all the good reviews it has.

The plot is very good, Kristen has created a very complete world with a background of legends and hidden stories and very elaborate secrets. The story is located in Firgaard, in which we find Asha, the Iskari, who is the best dragon hunter in the city. A few years ago her face is disfigured because of the first dragon, and when her father offers her a deal in exchange for bringing him the head of that same dragon, she accepts without thinking twice. And from here, I do not want to tell you anything else since it is here when the plot becomes interesting and Asha is involved in a series of conspiracies that will change her life and beliefs completely.

As you can see, Asha is a very strong woman who knows what she wants and knows how to get it. I like it above all because it has insecurities but these do not prevent her from doing or getting everything that she proposes. Then we find Dax, Asha's brother who is the opposite of her and still I love him. Then we have Torwin, the slave, who is my favorite character of all, his charisma and way of acting made me fall in love!

The truth, I recommend this book wholeheartedly. Until the last page you are going to be hooked because as much as you think it will end in a certain way, it suddenly takes a turn that changes everything again. As a translator, I was thinking about the reason for the change of title when translating it into Spanish (yes, defects in the profession) and once finished I understand very well why.
