Wrap-up: August

Y tal como vino Agosto, ya se ha acabado y tal y como os dije, los libros que he leído este mes han acabado siendo diferentes a los que me propuse en el TBR... No tengo remedio!

Así que con septiembre a la vista y mucho más tiempo libre para leer (sí, cuando más trabajo es en verano..), os dejo mi lista de libros leídos en Agosto. Muchos de ellos encontraréis las reseñas en el blog o las puntuaciones en mi Instagram. 

Una corte de alas y ruina

Este es el primer libro que terminé en agosto (aunque lo había empezado ya antes) y la verdad es que me encantó. Es la tercera entrega y si no los habéis leído aún, deberiais! Sarah J. Maas se ha convertido en una de mis escritoras favoritas y, aunque Feyre no es de mis favoritas, Rhysand lo tiene todo!

Bestias de la noche

 

A este libro le tenía muchas ganas desde que vi su portada y leí la sinopsis. Cualquier cosa que mezcle magia con tatuages y aventuras tiene que ser buena. Y la verdad, como os comenté en la reseña, la idea y el mundo creado están muy bien, pero la acción queda un poco floja.

Iskari

 

No entiendo cómo he podido tardar tanto en leer este libro. Los personajes, la trama, la acción y las descripciones, todo es perfecto. Transmite muy bien los ideales y sentimientos de los personajes. Si queréis saber más, tenéis la reseña.

Matar un reino

Esta ha sido mi mejor lectura de este mes. La sirenita ha sido mi cuento favorito desde siempre  y esta historia llena de matices más oscuros os encantará. Si queréis saber más, tenéis la reseña.

El rey cuervo

 

El Rey Cuervo es un libro que tenía pendiente desde hacia mucho. Me leí los tres primeros libros en una semana, y luego me tuve que esperar tanto para este que lamentablemente perdí un poco el hilo de la historia y me ha costado reengancharme. Aún y así,  el libro me ha encantado, Maggie como siempre es una gran escritora.

Este es un libro al que le tenía muchas ganas puesto que he seguido el proceso de escritura con ella desde su canal de youtube y la verdad era que el hype era muy grande y no me ha decepcionado. Tenéis la reseña en inglés.

And as August came, now it's over and as I told you, the books I've read this month have ended up being different from the ones I proposed at in my TBR ... I'm a mess!


So with September in sight and much more free time to read (yes, when I work more is in summer ..), I leave my list of books read in August. You will find the reviews of some of them on the blog or the scores on my Instagram.

 A court of wings and ruin

This is the first book I finished in August (although I had started it before) and the truth is that I loved it. It is the third part and if you have not read them yet, you should! Sarah J. Maas has become one of my favorite writers and, although Feyre is not my favorite, Rhysand has it all!

Beasts made of night

I really wanted this book since I saw its cover and I read the synopsis. Anything that mixes magic with tattoos and adventures has to be good. And the truth, as I mentioned in the review, the idea and the world created are very good, but the action is a little loose.

The last Namsara 

I do not understand how it took me so long to read this book. The characters, the plot, the action and the descriptions, everything is perfect. It transmits the ideals and feelings of the characters very well. If you want to know more, you have the review.

To kill a Kingdom

 

This has been my best reading this month. The little mermaid has always been my favorite story and this story full of darker nuances will enchant you. If you want to know more, you have the review.

 The raven king

 

The Raven King is a book that had been pending for a long time. I read the first three books in a week, and then I had to wait so long for this, so unfortunately I lost a bit of the story and it was difficult for me to re-engage. Even so, the book has enchanted me, Maggie as always is a great writer.

Catcher

This is a book I really wanted since I followed the writing process with her from her YouTube channel and the truth was that the hype was very big and I was not disappointed. You have the review in English.
